About us

Women Against Violence & Exploitation (WAVE) is not just a program — it is a movement born from pain, courage, and the unbreakable will of women to live with dignity.

Initiated under the Kshastra Foundation ecosystem, WAVE was created to respond to a harsh reality: countless women and girls face violence, abuse, fear, and silence every day. We exist to replace that fear with strength, knowledge, and confidence.

Through structured self-defense training, awareness programs, emotional resilience building, and community support, we help women rediscover their inner power. Our approach is practical, respectful, and rooted in Indian values of strength, self-respect, and protection of life.

We believe that a safe woman builds a safe family, and a safe family builds a strong nation.

WAVE stands with every girl who was told to stay quiet, every woman who was made to feel weak, and every survivor who chose to stand again. Your strength is our mission.

Mission

  • To provide free and affordable self-defense training to women and girls, especially from underprivileged communities.

  • To spread awareness about personal safety, legal rights, mental strength, and situational intelligence.

  • To build emotionally strong and physically capable women who can protect themselves and others.

  • To work with schools, colleges, communities, NGOs, and institutions to make safety education a basic life skill.

  • To transform victims into survivors, and survivors into leaders.

Our Vision

To create an India where every woman walks without fear, speaks without hesitation, and lives with dignity, safety, and self-confidence.

We envision a society where women are not protected by restrictions, but empowered by strength, knowledge, and self-belief.

A nation where daughters are raised as warriors of wisdom, not prisoners of fear.
